Starting our farm and community adventure in Vermont
Our vision for Open Way Farm is based in a belief that the land can offer deep healing and rejuvenation for all.
Want to visit? Stop by the farmstand in season to see what we have for you! Like our Facebook page for updates about where we are selling, events on the land, and how our work is going.
Interested in participating in the life of the farm? We are exploring workshares for families who want to grow with us. Contact us to discuss it.
Care about the intersection of sustainable agriculture and social justice? Come work and learn with us on the land and in community during our growing season!
In addition, we plan to offer week-long residencies to those who would benefit most directly from being here. Folks working in cities and suburbs, on the front lines of trying to make the world a better place– through activism, education, art, service– most often are separated from a connection to land, and the food that sustains them.
What can a week on working land, with acres of woods and miles of trails, and rural community, offer you? In 2016, we are offering a week-long residency in spring and summer. What work do you do to improve our world? What wholeness are you seeking from an experience on land? Participate in the life of the farm, share meals with community members, walk the woods and trails, visit with folks doing similar work, visit a healing practitioner who supports your work, meet with our community members for deep listening and support.
There is no cost for the residency, though there is an application process. We hope to welcome up to three people onto the land in 2016.
